Teacher Health Promotion Center Overview

The Teacher Health Promotion Center was established in October 2023 with the purpose of providing specialized medical services to teachers and staff of state-owned kindergartens, general education schools, and vocational and technical education institutions. The center also delivers public health education, clinical consultations, and preventive information and services.

Service Areas

  • Medical Services: Outpatient doctor consultations and online consultations

  • Public Health Services:

    • Capacity-building training for institutional healthcare staff

    • Health education, promotional activities, and consultations for teachers and staff

Organizational Structure and Staffing

The center operates with a team of three professionals, including:

  • One director

  • Two specialists

Service Accessibility

Teachers and staff can access the center’s services by submitting electronic requests through their organization’s physician or health specialist. They can receive:

  • Specialist consultations and diagnostics from Mongolia-Japan Hospital

  • Online consultations from specialized physicians

  • Health education and information tailored to their needs

Service Statistics

Outpatient Consultations:
Since the center’s establishment, a total of 1,130 requests have been received as of May 2025.

  • 1,204 teachers and staff (some counted more than once) have received specialist consultations

  • 57 cases were referred for surgical or day treatment

Online Consultations:
Introduced in 2024, with 11 sessions conducted as of May 2025

Training & Promotion:

  • Center activities have been introduced to the Ministry of Education and Science, Education Evaluation Center, provincial and district education departments, and healthcare providers through 14 in-person and 26 online meetings, reaching 1,576 participants across 21 provinces and 9 districts

  • Four in-person training sessions were organized for institutional doctors and healthcare staff, involving 497 participants from both urban and rural areas

  • Health education materials are distributed in the form of brochures, posters, animations, and videos

Digital Outreach:
Information is actively disseminated through the center’s Facebook page, profile, doctor groups, and YouTube channel using:

  • Social media posts

  • Educational content (videos, posters, animations)

  • Chatbot response tools
